Alice Bailey is originally from Rapid City, South Dakota. She moved to Alaska in 2006 and has spent time living and working in Fairbanks, the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta, and the arctic. She taught photography at the University of Alaska, Colorado Mountain College, and the University of Virginia and now resides in Fairbanks.
